Annual General Meeting 2024
Dear Respected Members, Families, and Potential Members,
In alignment with Clauses 16, 17, 18 & 25 of PACA’s constitution, I am calling an Annual General Meeting of our paid members at 1:45 pm on Sunday, 10th November 2024 (for 2:15pm start) in person at Community Hall – Islamic Women Association of Australia – 11 Watland Street, Springwood, Qld 4127 (conditional to first 50 members RSVP’d) & via Zoom (as per Association Incorporation and Other Legislation Amendment Act 2020). The online Zoom link will be shared with paid members 48 hours before the AGM.
As per Clause 16 b of PACA’s constitution, we will have the following items on our agenda:
• Progress in the last year
• Financial Reporting
– The election of members of the executive committee.
-Constitution Improvement, Amendments
• Future Plans: PACA App Launch (Connecting community with businesses), Shelter home
We welcome each community member to run for election and take responsibility to serve the community in true essence!

PACA Family & Membership: Pakistan Australian Cultural Association is nothing without its members, and definitely look forward to your support and membership to continue to work and serve the community. The membership cutoff date is 5th November 2024 for attending AGM.
Election: Should any eligible member want to contest the election, please put Expression of Interest by sending email to info@pacaqld.org, Nomination Form will be shared, please submit it by no later than 7 pm on Friday, 8th November 2024.
PACA Constitution Feedback & Suggestions: PACA constitution is available on our website (download link). We are looking forward to modernizing the PACA constitution and cover all aspects of the community work that current PACA team and community is doing using latest technologies.
We seek your input and feedback by replying only to this email by Sunday, 3rd Nov 2024 or earlier. All PACA is registered with Office of Fair Trading (Queensland Government) and all by-laws needs to be aligned with OFT. A Special General Meeting will be called.
A few suggestions are as following:
1. To avoid grievances, we have worked out to propose and put forward a systematic grievance process (https://www.publications.
2. On suggestion at last AGM by members, PACA team had given nonpaid general community membership to each, and every community member attending PACA events (via by law) and will be proposing it to be part of the constitution for good.
3.PACA is registered with Office of Fair Trading (OFT) and these by-laws needs to be aligned with OFT. Elections to be held with Office of Fair Trading Representatives or recommended approved third parties.
We truly welcome each and every community member to be not just our member but run for election to take the responsibility and serve the community in true spirit!
